What this covers
How Enroll Platform handles information about school owners and staff who use the platform, and about students who enroll through a school’s site.
School owners and staff
We keep your name, your email address, the terms you accepted and when, and the settings of your school. We use them to run your account and to contact you about the service.
Students
Each school’s student and order information is kept separately from every other school’s. A school sees only its own students. We do not ask students for a Social Security number or a tax ID. Card details are typed into the payment company’s own secure form or page: they go straight to that company and never reach our servers.
Documents a school requires
A school may require an identity document or other documents for a course. When it does, the files are stored privately. Only that school’s staff and the student who uploaded them can open them. They are never sent by email and never made public. The student can delete them from their account at any time. They are kept until the student or the school deletes them.
Messages to a school
When you use the contact form on a school’s site, you send your name, your email, a phone number if you choose to give one, and your message. They are stored for that school and emailed to it, so that the school can answer you. They are kept until the school deletes them. Our support staff can see them when they help that school.
Videos on a school’s site
A school may show videos on its site. A video from YouTube or Vimeo is played by that company: nothing is sent to it until you press play, and from then on it receives your request and handles it under its own privacy policy. A video the school uploaded is played from our own file storage.
Who else is involved
We use service providers to host the sites, store the data, store uploaded files, send email and take payments. They process information only to provide those services. On enrollplatform.com’s own public pages we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser. We do not use it on any school’s site or inside your account. Visitors whose browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal are not measured.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or removed, by contacting us.
